高鈴 (Kourin or Callin')

Kou-Rin (English translation- Callin’)

This original Kyoto-native Duo was formed in 1998 and currently composes and performs in Tokyo.
“Kou-Rin” is named after the Chinese characters meaning “High”(Kou) and “Bell”(Rin) and was chosen to express the sensitive soul and faint yet vibrant color/spirit of the “Bell” that rings out in a “High” tone.
Kou-Rin’s signature sound is created and infused throughout their wide range of original compositions that convey the plaintive and transitory nature of the Japanese language.

2003 
- Signed exclusive contract with Sony Music Records.
- Debut single “Mayonaka no Koukai” was released and introduced their unique musical presence across Japan and beyond.
- Following their debut Kou-Rin released 1 single and 5 studio albums. The release of their song “Aishteru” off their 3rd album “Hibi no Uta” propelled their popularity and was the featured theme song from the Anime show “Natsumeyujincho” broadcast on the TV Tokyo Channel.

2009
- Founded their own Independent label “Little Dance Music”
- Released single “Utakata”.
- Both “Utakata” and “Ato wo Nokoshite” were the featured theme music for national TV commercials promoting the 2010 Kagawa Human Rights and Antidiscrimination Foundation.

2011
- Released single “Suna no Jikan” .
- Launched their live show nationwide.
- Performed self-titled one-man live show “Kou-Rin in Meguro Persimmon Hall” along the “Suna no Jikan Tour” ending their successful Tour on the very highest of notes.

I really really love this duo. I really do. That's why I have all this urge to share the love I have for them. Unfortunately, there're rarely people that know this amazing duo, except for the song Aishiteru which is Natsume Yuujinchou's 2nd ending. I started become Kourin's fans since 3-4 years ago, and I collected some of their albums. I guess I'll share them here... so you can listen to their amazing works. This is one of my favorite songs from Hey! Say! Jump!, Puppy Boo from the album Jumping Car.
Actually, first time I heard this song was when I watched Jumping Carnival DVD concert~ And their performance there just kept playing and playing in my head repeatedly.
Especially, when they said, "Dame dayooo, you're my puppy boo."
I feel like, if I were to feel down or about to give up, my lovely Daichan would be there and said, "No, you can't," with his serious expression. Ahahaha, I'm laughing just thinking about it >:DD

Apart from that, I really like -No, LOVE this song.

The melodies are jazzy, cute, and cheerful. It gave the same feeling as Magic Power, I think. But, this song made me excited with S&M feeling, LoL~

Yes, no kidding.

Hhmm.. How do I say it? It kinda reminds me of manga "Kuro Hakusaku Wa Hoshi o Mederu"? That kind of gentle-looking prince, who is actually a sadist, but an even gentler person deep inside? Ok, I don't expect you to understand what am I saying, actually~ haha.

List lagu tersedih yang bikin nangis versi gue

Heyhooo~ kali ini gue mau berbagi list lagu-lagu sedih kesukaan gue. Gue cuma akan mendata lagu-lagu yang berhasil membuat gue menitikkan air mata,,, dan karena gue pada dasarnya adalah orang yang melankolis, mungkin selera gue akan sedikit berbeda... yah. Tapi inilah list lagu sedih versi gue:

1. Jia Peng Fang - Himawari (Instrumental)

Sebuah instrumental dari maestro Erhu asal China yang telah lama berkarya di Jepang, Jia Peng Fang. Meski sebagian besar musiknya memang melankolis, lagu himawari termasuk lagu yang bener-bener bikin gue mewek. Himawari berarti bunga matahari. Jika dilihat dari segi hanakotoba, himawari artinya 'love and respect'. You know, somehow ketika gue denger lagu ini, wajah-wajah orang yang gue 'love and respect' berkelebat di memori gue, sampe rasanya agak serem-serem mistis gimana gitu (baca: merinding). Lebih dari pada itu, gue rasa ini tentang memori musim panas yang telah hilang. Yah, karena lagu ini sebenarnya terdengar 'manis', namun sangat menyayat hati.
Sebenernya cukup banyak lagu Jia Peng Fang yang bikin hati gue terenyuh, misalnya lagu "Forever" yang menurut gue bisa banget jadi soundtrack film colossal yang super keren :o

2. Most of Kourin's songs

Gue nggak bisa memutuskan yang mana.... hum... semua lagu kourin itu bikin gue sedih. Sedih yang manis. Lagi-lagi, haha. Mungkin perasaan gue ini bisa diutarakan dengan satu kata dalam bahasa Jepang, "natsukashii ne". Oke, kita lihat satu-satu judul lagunya dan bagian lirik yang bikin gue mewek.

- Aishiteru (Ost Natsume Yuujinchou)

3. Park Hyo Shin - Wild Flower

Wuah, lagu ini... Pertama kali gue dengernya merinding, dan gue nangis, percaya atau tidak, hahaha. Gue nggak tau artinya, tapi air mata gue netes cuy. Gue cuma tau kata 'apeuda' (sakit) dan genchana (it's alright...) tapi... wow. Disinilah gue yakin musik nggak kenal bahasa. Menurut gue Park Hyo Shin berhasil banget 'menyampaikan' lagu ini ke pendengarnya dengan emosi yang manis dan sedih pasrah itu. Salutnya gue sama lagu ini adalah variasi nadanya, dari yang rendah banget sampe yang tinggiii banget di menit ke 4. Bukan cuma tinggi, emosi harus keluar banget di situ, atau lagu ini nggak akan keluar auranya. Yah, menurut gue, kunci mematikan lagu ini ada di sekitar menit ke-4 itu. Stunning! Eeeh, gue menangis karena lagu ini? Ehm... mungkin lebih dari pada konteks lagunya... gue menangis karena lagu ini seperti prototype masa kecil bahagia gue? Hahaha. Yeah, gue besar bersama One Piece dan HunterxHunter, jadi mereka seperti kenangan masa kecil yang tak tergantikan. Dan lagu ini salah satu yang paling membekas di hati gue, mendorong gue untuk tetap bertahan hidup (?) di tengah dunia yang kejam bagi anak-anak ini.

Yeah, ini lebih ke masalah pribadi, hahaha. Lagu ini terasa menohok hati gue hingga tingkat yang paling paling paling fatal. Buat mereka yang sulit move on, mari merapat. Entah berapa kali gue dibikin nangis sama lagu ini. 

"Karena hanya dengan perasaan rinduku yang dalam padamu, ku pertahankan hidup.

Maka hanya dengan jejak-jejak hatimu, ada arti ku telusuri hidup ini.

Kurang dalem apa coba? Itu gue (di masa itu) banget. Yah, rindu. "something that you're looking for, makes your days exciting, makes you have reason to keep living in this cruel and beautiful world"

6. Hata Motohiro - Himawari no Yakusaku

Hehe, yah... Gue menangis saat pertama, kedua, dan ketiga kali mendengar lagu ini sekaligus nonton MV nya (sebelum nonton film Stand by Me tentunya). Lebay ya gue? haha, dibilang gue itu crybaby. 

Sejak kenal Hata-san, gue udah kecantol banget sama suaranya yang menyayat itu. Bukan cuma Himawari no Yakusaku, jauh sebelumnya gue juga hampir dibuat menangis oleh emosi dari lagu 'Uroko' yang ada di album pertamanya. Emosi. Gue rasa itu yang menonjol dari lagu-lagunya Motohiro Hata dan sebagian besar artist Office Augusta seperti Sukima Switch, Yamazaki Masayoshi, Suga Shikao, hingga Yu Sakai. Yah, secara dari segi tampang memang artis mereka nggak begitu "bening", tapi dari segi suara.... mereka "berbeda" dan "keren". Udah, itu aja.

Oh ya, gue suka banget sama terjemahannya Nakari Amane untuk lagu ini. Dan video klipnya itu hangaat deh rasanya. Pas Hata-san berdiri di tengah-tengah ladang bunga matahari, atau pas dia main gitar di ruangan dengan sinar-sinar matahari nyusup dari celah jendela gitu... wow. Pas banget setting dan tema lagu ini. Gue rasa ini lagu terbaik Hata-san. Keduanya Uroko. Ketiganya Dear Mr. Tomorrow. Hehe.

8. Funky Monkey Babys - Taisetsu

Ehemmm.... Just watch the video and you'll know what I mean. 
Cinta pertama yang dimulai sejak kecil. Sekedar kata "sampai besok" yang terdengar biasa pun, merupakan hal berharga yang membuat nya terus bisa menghadapi segalaa kesedihan dan kesulitan~ uhuuk T_T

Ini OST dari film kuchibiru ni uta wo (Have a song on your lips) yang dibintangi Yui Aragaki-san. Filmnya aja udah bikin gue mewek, terutama di bagian lagu ini dinyanyiin pas lomba paduan suara murid-muridnya. Flashback kisah mereka masing-masing ditambah lirik lagu ini yang memang dalem, sukses bikin gue muter lagu ini berulang-ulang kali sebagai penambah semangat hidup T__T

8. Aqua Timez - Ikite
Woah, another song about life which hardly hits my heart. Tonton aja video ini, karena dari sinilah pertama gue denger lagu ini. Gue yang a bit tsundere dan suka sok mandiri... gue yang kadang ingin sepenuhnya mengandalkan orang lain and act all spoiled... ahaha.

9. Hazzie - Anata
It's simply touching. Gue pertama tau lagu ini gegara ngeliat fanvid adik gue, si nashionaru otouto, Kotaki Nozomu, hahaha.  ==> Terjemahannya

10. Seamo - Mother
Model-modelnya mirip sama hazzie tadi. Yang gue tau pasti, temen 'nyaris-otaku' gue yang seorang cowok berbodi besar dan berkulit gelap nangis sendirian di kosan gegara lagu ini, keinget emaknya... . Ah, tiba-tiba gue kangen sama temen gue ini. Apakah dia masih jadi 'nyaris-otaku'? natsukashii~

11. Gugur Bunga

Lagu ini sedih banget. Sediiih banget, sulit diungkapkan dengan kata-kata. Serius. Kadang gue mikir, ini lagu depress banget, kurang cocok diajarkan ke anak SD. Karena dulu saat pertama kali gue denger lagu ini adalah ketika mendiang Ibu Negara, Ibu Tin, wafat. Coba aja lu denger lagu ini malam hari. Yakin lu pasti merinding.

ANDO YUKO

ANDO YUKO(安藤裕子)

Yo, minna-san~ Kali ini mimin mau posting tentang salah satu musisi Jepang favorit ane. 
Ini dia:

 ANDO YUKO!! :DD

Gimana ya... gue cuma bisa bilang satu kata tentang Ando Yuko: Unik. Suaranya unik. Sangat berbeda dari suara-suara penyanyi yang pernah gue denger. Mungkin untuk pertama kali telinga kita akan merasa aneh saat mendengar lagunya, tapi dalam keanehan itu, gue merasakan sesuatu yang magis. Hahaha. Suara Ando Yuko yang seperti bergetar, dalam nada tinggi, menurut gue memberikan kesan emosi yang mendalam. Apalagi kalo dia nyanyi lagu slow, macam Wasuremono no mori yang jadi OST nya anime Gilgamesh. Kalau menurut website resmi Ando Yuko, "She had rare songwriting ability, the words who were selected in a unique sensibility, Whispering, as cry, shake strongly the hearts and put the hight tone to heat song, It stirs up a vortex of emotions to the audience."
Tapi mungkin gara-gara itulah lagunya terdengar sedikit "seram".

Basically, gue suka semua lagu slow nya Ando Yuko. Bukan cuma yang slow sih. Lagu-lagu ceria dengan nada-nada yang terdengar nyeleneh dan ceria macam Life and Let Die, gue juga suka banget. Selain sebagai penyanyi, Ando Yuko juga main dorama. Beberapa lagunya juga ada yang dijadiin soundtrack dorama/movie. 

Untuk awal-awal, coba dengerin lagu Ando Yuko yang Wasuremono no mori, Ningyo Hime, Anata to Watashi ni Dekiru Koto, dll~

PV GReeeeN - Bokura no monogatari



Ano... eto...
Kali ini ane pengen bahas lagu GReeeeN yang dirilis November 2013 lalu, judulnya Bokura no monogatari. Ini terjemahan lagunya, nemu dri blog lain: http://blackexorcist.blogspot.com/2013/12/lirikterjemahan-greeeen-bokura-no.html

Lagu ini menyoroti soal orang yang "berpikir untuk mati", org yang mau bunuh diri. Gw rasa tema ini sangat cocok bwt anak-anak muda baik di jepang maupun di luar jepang saat ini. Tingkat bunuh diri makin tinggi. Stress yang ditimbun, pura-pura tenang padahal sebenarnya lagi depresi akut dan teriak atau nangis dalam hati. Wow wow. Lagu GReeeeN kali ini entah kenapa rasanya langsung hit to the spot dan binggo, sederhana yang memukau. Gw pribadi berkaca-kaca pas denger lagu ini, liat videonya sambil baca arti lagunya. Sebenernya udah banyak lagu mereka yang sangat memberi inspirasi pada gw untuk terus maju dan nggak takut melihat kenyataan. Tapi yang ini ngena banget.

Karena abis nonton anime movie "COLORFUL" baru-baru ini, gw makin melihat kenyataan bahwa bagi anak muda di Jepang, kayaknya bunuh diri itu kok gampang banget ya? Ijime di sana juga serem. Ya, bukan berarti di negara gw nggak ada ijime. Ada dan sebagai calon pendidik gw pun sadar itu. Bahkan di kelas yang sempat gw masuki beberapa kali pas praktek juga ada ijime (tapi nggak fisik) sampe anak itu mutusin bwt pindah sekolah. Mungkinkah pelaku ijime itu nggak sadar bahwa yang dilakukannya ijime? Apa yang bisa kita lakukan bwt mengatasi masalah itu? Sebagai pendidik, sebagai orang tua, sebagai kakak, atau paling banter sebagai warga negara yang berada di dekat praktek ijime itu? Menutup mata pastilah bukan jawaban yang tepat. Oke, bahasan ijime bukan yang ingin gw bahas di sini. Mungkin lain waktu.

Sementara semua orang punya perannya masing-masing untuk membuat seseorang ingin bunuh diri ataupun membuat seseorang merasa hidupnya berharga, GReeeeN selalu punya lagu yang membuka pikiran seseorang. Gw sendiri jadi tearing karena lirik lagu ini. "apapun yang terjadi, mau lu nangis-nangis, mau lu jengkel, mau lu kesel atau pengin mati kayak apa juga, hari esok akan tetap datang. Lu harus tetap bertahan hidup. Orang yang menyerah dan bunuh diri itu orang yang lemah, dan lu itu kuat. Optimis dan terus tersenyumlah!" Kasarnya gitu kesan yang gw dapet. Hohoho.

Aaaaah, gw harap lagu Indonesia juga banyak yang inspiring kayak lagu-lagu GReeeeN. Banyak lagu mereka yang begitu gw cari tau artinya, ternyata artinya luar biasa dalem sampe gw pengin nangis. Mungkin karena background mereka juga yang dokter gigi, mereka pun merasakan rasanya kesulitan atau terseok-seok berjuang meraih mimpi. Lagu "tobira" yang mengajak kita untuk nggak takut melangkah ke depan dan melihat masa depan. Lagu "fubo uta" dan "ryoushin e no tegami" yang mengingatkan kita betapa besarnya cinta orang tua dan bahwa kita bisa tumbuh dewasa berkat bimbingan dan kehangatan mereka. Atau lagu-lagu cinta seperti 'Yuki no ne", "hito", "ai no uta", "kiseki", "koibumi" dan lainnya. Ada juga lagu-lagu yang lucu-lucu macem "aioeongaku", "cooking kareshi", "good luck", yang sangat menghibur.
